Hello there!
I know I've done the Liebster Award a couple of times but I was tagged in it by Maggie and I felt like doing it so I thought I would, after all the questions are never the same and it's a nice opportunity to find new blogs to follow :-)

11 facts about myself:

1. I am a huge Potterhead and this has recently come more to the surface after going to the Harry Potter Studios, I am actually re-reading the series and I read half of the first book in one night because I physically couldn't put it down.

2. I am currently doing grade 8 piano

3. I would like to learn more instruments but I fear it's too late

4. I love 80s films, I can watch Back to the Future and the Brat Pack films any time over and over again

5. I really like watching musicals, especially if Judy Garland is in them

6. I have a ridiculous crush on Tom Felton

7. I would really like to see Morrissey in concert but I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to because he's taking so long with coming out with his next album 

8. If I could I would buy every single soft toy from the Disney store

9. I cannot wait for the Sims 4 to come out

10. I am learning how to knit and I hope I am able to do it well by the end of 2014

11. Every year in December/January I watch Bridget Jones 1 and 2, it's just a tradition for me

1. What made you want to start blogging? I really enjoyed watching Zoella and Sprinkleofglitter's videos on youtube and they did a video together about starting a blog, and I had always been interested in primark hauls and things like that so I figured I could do it.

2. Who are your fashion inspirations? I'm not really into what's 'in style' but Twiggy I guess

3. Where would be your dream place to live? Central London, I really like London but the area I live in feels very small and I can almost certainly guarantee I'll see a chav from my high school when I go to the shops so I always make myself go further afield

4. What country would you most like to travel to? Italy, I've never been but it looks lovely.

5. What is one beauty product you could not live without? Liquid eyeliner

6. What would you describe your style as in one word? Indescribable 

7. What is one article of clothing you can't live without? My skirt, I am not confident enough to wear jeans any more so I wear skirts all the time

8. Coffee or Hot Cocoa? I prefer hot chocolate to cocoa, so I suppose I'll pick coffee in this instance.

9. What is your favorite season? Spring

10. If you could go on an all-expense paid shopping spree, which store would you go to? Topshop

11. What is your blogging goal for 2014? Do tag posts less often, maybe once a month. Do more varied posts.

Random Facts

1. I hate marshmallows, I think this stems from a fluffy bunny type competition my teacher in year 2 made us do but even then I don't remember being too fond of them.

2. I used to be scared of watching the snow queen because of the creepy BBC logo that came before the movie started which you can see here, I actually loved the movies but the BBC logo freaked me out so much that it put me off from watching it.

3. Cadbury's Marvellous Creations are like my favourite chocolate bar, but now they're no longer £1.50 my Mum never buys them and this makes me sad.

4. My 17th birthday is next Sunday (10th November)

5. I used to have an imaginary friend called Jiminy who my parents still tease me about to this day, I really liked Pinocchio  which had the character Jiminy Cricket except my imaginary friend was a blonde little girl with the name of a cricket.. I was weird I know.

6. I'm scared of going out of my comfort zone because I've had a few panic attacks this year and I don't want to have one in public.

7. I'd really like a job in the Disney Store.

8. I overthink everything, I'm not casual about anything, seriously I overthink what I'm going to eat for breakfast or what I'm gonna wear the next day

9. It took me about a month to realise that I don't like black coffee. I was drinking it everyday sort of kidding myself that I like it and then I just sort of thought 'I don't really like this' and so now I have to have it with a splash of milk.

10. I'd really like to see Arctic Monkeys live (you up for it Isabella?)

11. My favourite disney film is probably 'Emperor's New Groove'

3. Which song is your guilty pleasure? I don't really have guilty pleasure songs to be honest

4. If a movie about your life was being made, who would you want to play you? Ellen Page even though she looks nothing like me

5. What did you do for your last birthday? Nothing, I was going to go out with a few friends but they all cancelled last minute. I watched a movie with family - does that count?

6. Do you have a nickname? I have a few but my first nickname was Boo and I was called Bessie Boo Bam for a long time

7. What are you most scared of? Probably spiders

8. What is your favourite thing to blog about (beauty/fashion/lifestyle etc)? Fashion

9. What beauty product could you not live without? Eyeliner

10.What is your staple autumn/winter makeup look? Black eyeliner cat eye flicks, I don't really bother with anything else but maybe a nice dark red colour lipstick (which I have not yet acquired)

Films, Films, Films Tag!

Good evening readers, I saw this tag on this blog and thought it would be interesting because I am a film enthusiast. Anyone who knows me will know about the movie tradition in my house where we alternate every week for each member of the family to choose a film and a meal so I have seen a wide selection of movies and I love watching new films, anyway I shall crack on, hope you enjoy!

1. What is your all time favourite film?

This is a pretty difficult question for me because it depends on my mood to be honest, but I would probably say Back to the Future. I love loads of films but I love quite a lot about that film, the music, the 80s feel (except for when they're going back in time and in the future and what not), and Michael. J. Fox is pretty cool.

2. What is your favourite scene from that film?

I love the part where Marty is playing guitar at the prom and his hands start disappearing, also when he's playing Johnny. B. Goode. I also love the bit when he says 'nobody calls me chicken', it always makes me crack up.


3. Who is your favourite actor and actress?

My favourite actor is probably Jim Carrey because he's so funny, The Mask is hilarious, I don't think I could ever get bored of that film. I also love the Truman show and Bruce Almighty, to be honest if Jim Carrey is in a film I can be 98% sure I'll get a few laughs out of it.

4. What was the first film you saw in the cinema?

I have a feeling it was Toy Story 2 or possibly Tarzan, according to my parents I kept pointing at the screen and saying 'look! Look!' and running up down the aisles so I probably wasn't the best companion for a cinematic experience.

5. Favourite director?

I quite like John Hughes, the Brat Pack films don't ever fail to put a smile on my face.


6. Favourite guilty pleasure film?

I feel inclined to say The Notebook, it's a wet movie I know (I haven't read the book) but I really enjoyed it even though it's annoying how Noah and Allie have such a love hate relationship and you can never be sure how they're going to be acting towards each other. 

7. What is a film you hate that everyone loves?

Dear John, okay so I didn't actually hate this film but it was incredibly boring and I had high hopes for it but I was rather disappointed.

8. What is a film you love that everyone hates?

There aren't really films that I love that everyone hates, people on the internet have good taste and agree with me, then people at school usually don't know what I'm on about. I'm inclined to say the entire star wars saga, I love it so much but I only have like a few friends in my sixth form who like it and that astonishes me because it's so amazing.

9. Which actor/actress do you have a crush on?

Woah man we could be here all day if I start listing these, probably Aaron Johnson or Leonardo DiCaprio though..

10. What is your favourite animated film?

I  think Hunchback of Notre Dame or Alice in Wonderland, to be honest I love pretty much all Disney films, Shrek and Anastasia.

11. Who is your favourite film villain?

Probably Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame, he's pretty freaky.

12. One remake you wish had never been made.

The only one I really think of is Fame, the original is pretty iconic.

13. Favourite film genre?

I don't really have one specific genre that I stick to, I'm pretty open minded with movies. Comedies are always good though

14. Ever walked out of a film?

Nope, if I pay to watch a film I want to get my moneys worth no matter how bad the film is, yes I'm a cheapskate but if I'm spending £8 on a ticket I need to make sure I'm not just throwing the money away.

15. Favourite sidekick

Chewbacca haha, his relationship with Han Solo is cute.

50 Random Facts About Me Tag

I saw this tag on this blog and I thought it looked interesting, so I'm going to do it :-)


1. My birthday is 10th November 1996

2. I basically know the entire script to School of Rock

3. I've been playing the piano since I was 4, then I gave up and started again when I was 6 and now I'm preparing for my grade 7 exam in November

4. I like to play the guitar

5. I had vocal lessons from year 8 to the end of year 11

6. I'm obsessed with classic Disney films

7. ^I'm basically obsessed with films in general

8. I looooove music, but my favourite bands are probably The Beatles or The Smiths

9. I am a proud atheist.

10. I've been obsessed with The Sims games for 17394471820 years, I used to wake up at like 5am on the weekends and play The Sims/The Sims 2 until 11pm at night, then do the same thing the next morning

11. I haven't been able to eat bubblegum since I was 12, I had a party for my 12th birthday and my friends came to my house, and I used to have a bubblegum machine in my room. My friend took loads of them and ate them, then spat it out in the toilet and I've never been able to do so much as smell it ever since. I can eat chewing gum but it has to be minty or it reminds me of the incident.

12. The only pet I've ever had is a fish and it died after a few months, apparently she was the sickest in the tank but I didn't realise that when I was younger, I just saw the loneliest one and thought it would want a friend but it didn't eat anything and yeah Jessy died.

13. I have two older half sisters called Abbie and Frances, and a younger brother called Reuben.

14. My GCSE options were Maths, triple Science, English, History, French, Music and Business Studies. I got 7A, 2B, 2C and a distinction in P.E. I honestly don't think I would've gotten any Cs if my science teacher hadn't put us on a course intended for private school students, furthermore he left like a week to finish a whole two units. My biology teacher was good though.

15. My As options are Psychology, Philosophy, History and Biology.

16. My favourite drink is tea without sugar, I have to have at least one cup a day or I cannot function.

17. I've only been to one concert, to see Ben Folds Five at the O2 academy in Brixton.

18. Friends is like my favourite show, I have seen every episode so many times and I still laugh every time.

19. I have never watched an episode of TOWIE.

20. I  am currently reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

21. The first CD that I owned was Pop Party

22. I am 168cm tall

23. I hate hospitals, this is more of a new fear but I can't stand stepping foot in there anymore

24. When I was 5, I wanted to be a pirate when I grew up

25. The Christmas tradition in my family is bacon rolls for lunch and burgers for dinner

26. I've lived in 7 different houses (including the one I'm in now)

27. One summer when I was moving house, I stayed in about 7 hotels

28. I think Danny Elfman is one of the greatest composers ever, especially in Nightmare before Christmas

29. Michael. J. Fox is one of my heroes, and I really hope that one day there is a cure for Parkinson's disease

Questions I was asked:

1. What is your favourite time of year? Spring, because I love how it's warm but it's not boiling like summer. Also you have Easter, who doesn't love chocolate?

2. What is your favourite memory?  My holiday to the USA, I only came back a week ago but it was my first time going and it was such a lovely experience, I got to see all the sights, see some relatives who previously were facebook friends and try lots of new food, it was just lovely.

3. If you could be someone else for a day who would you pick? I think Linda McCartney, to see what it's like to be married to Paul McCartney and to be 'in' the mania but not exactly the reason for the mania, if that makes sense..

4. Whats your must have beauty product? Eyeliner, whether it be pencil or liquid, I can't leave the house without putting it on.

5. What can you not live without? Some form of listening to music, if I can't listen to my phone when I'm walking to places or when I'm stressed or whatever I will not be in a good mood.

6. When did you start blogging? About six weeks, I'm really new to blogging but I am loving it.

7. Why did you start blogging? I'm a huge fan of Zoella, and I was watching her video that Zoe did with Louise (SprinkleOfGlitter) about starting a blog and I just thought 'hey I want some of that' so I made a blog, I always wanted to do primark hauls and stuff like that but I've done youtube before and failed at it, so I shan't be returning unless there is popular demand.

8. What is your favourite item of clothing? At the moment, my pinafore. Unless it includes shoes, then it would definitely be my black patent Dr Martens.

9. Who is your fashion icon? Probably Twiggy.
